Congress releases fourth phase of list, reposes faith in Karishma Thakur from Govindnagar, fields new candidates in Sisamau and Ghatampur

 In the third phase of elections in the state, only two days of nominations are left. The Congress has given ticket to state president Karishma Thakur from Govind Nagar in Kanpur. While Rajnarayan Kureel, who recently joined the Congress from Ghatampur assembly seat, has been given the ticket. Similarly, in Sisamau assembly constituency, Congress has fielded Haji Suhail Ahmed. Haji also became a Congressman a few days ago.

Karishma has been the runner from Govindnagar

Karishma Thakur, who started politics from Delhi University, has contested from Govindnagar in the 2020 by-election. It is said to be very close to the Gandhi family. This time they got a direct benefit of it. After losing the by-election, the ticket was finalised for Karishma even after a few contenders. However, govindnagar assembly is a Brahmin majority. About 1.5 lakh voters from Govind Nagar are Brahmins. In the by-election, sp and bsp got about 25 thousand votes.

Tickets to new guests from Sisamau

The Congress has also finalised tickets from Sisamau and Ghatampur seats in Kanpur. The Sisamau seat was being claimed by a lot of people, but the leadership decided to field Suhail Ahmed. Suhail Ahmed has joined the Congress a few days ago. From here, Congress North district president Naushad Alam Mansoori had also claimed a ticket, but by grocering him, the party reposed faith in Suhel. Irfan Solanki is an MLA from SP from this seat. From here, the SP, BJP and Congress are likely to have a triangular contest.

Congress has high hopes from Ghatampur

Rajnarayan Kureel will contest on Congress ticket from Ghatampur assembly constituency. In the last election, the Congress had fought strongly in Ghatampur and came second. In such a situation, the Congress was looking for a winning candidate. Raj Narayan is considered to have a good hold in this area. From here, the seat has been given to Apna Dal under the bjp's agreement. Raj Narain has been in the BJP for a long time, in such a way, he is going to get the direct benefit of the BJP's displeasure and the contest here is going to be interesting.

Now his arrogance in Kalyanpur Assembly constituency is intact.

Candidates have already been announced for all assembly seats in Kanpur except Kalyanpur assembly constituency. The main reason for not declaring the names of all the candidates till 2 days before the palace of nomination is to prevent the contradiction. The Congress leadership is cleverly trying to woo all the workers.

Gayatri Tiwari, the mother of Bikarkund accused Khushi Dubey, is likely to contest from Kalyanpur assembly constituency. Congress is eyeing the Kalyanpur seat. There is talk in political circles that the battle on this seat will be interesting.
